Methan is a small village situated about 5,131 ft above sea level in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is at a distance of around 7 km from Srinagar – the district headquarters. Methan is connected with the neighboring places such as Hakimbagh in the west, Naikpur in the north, Naugam in the east and Shankarpur in the south.
