Shankarpur




Located at a height of 5137 ft above sea level, Shankarpur is a small hamlet in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about six kilometers away from Srinagar and two kilometers from Naugam.

Shankarpur is flanked by Bagh Mahtabju in its west and Manganwar in the east. Methan and Monchu form the northern and southern borders respectively.

Shankarpur can be reached from Baghat Kanipur and Gund-i-Chukapur, by road. Udhampur Railway Station, managed by the Northern Railways, serves this place.
