Doda River

Doda River, the main tributary of Zanskar River, originates from the Durung Drung Glacier - the largest glacier in Ladakh. Doda flows down from the Penzella Pass and merges with the Lugnak (also called as Lingti or Tsarap) near Padum to form the Zanskar River. One can visit the Karsha Monastery, after crossing the Doda River.
