Golden Oriole (Oriolus oriolus) is a secretive bird of about 24 cm in length. The male is striking with its bright yellow body and black wings, while the female is a drabber green bird. The bird prefers deciduous woodlands, forest edges and orchards. It feeds on fruits, berries and insects.
Golden Oriole can be seen in the Ramnagar Wildlife Sanctuary, Jammu and Kashmir.
