Airwan is situated near Parole in Kathua District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 15 km from Kathua. This village derived its name from the river Ravi. Prime attraction is the 4th century Airwan Temple, built by King Vikramaditya. Nearby is the sacred stream named Guptaganga, where the pilgrims immerse the ashes of the deceased. Ideal time to visit here is during the Mahashivaratri and Baisakhi Festival held in the temple.
