Rupi

Bordering with Shimla District, the town of Rupi is in the western side of the Kinnaur District. It is around 8 km south of Sarchpat and 12 km east of Phancha. Rekong Peo, the administrative headquarters of the district, is around 45 km to the south-east. Rupi Bhabha Sanctuary, Kanam Monastery, Lippa Monastery and Mahabodhi Kinnaur Buddhist Temple are worth visiting sites. Kinnaur Kailash Range, one of the most spectacular ranges in the Himalayas, is nearby. Dehradun Railway Station is around 140 km away. Shimla Airport and Kullu Manali Airport serve the town.
