Naldehra, situated at an altitude of 2044 m, lies about 23 km from
Shimla. Giant Deodars, awesome mountains, mounds and deep gorges through which the
Sutlej meanders, make Naldehra a unique spot. The place is home to a nine hole par 68 golf course,
Naldehra Golf Course, and is considered the oldest golf course in India. Naldehra is said to have derived its name from the
Nag temple, set inside the beautiful golf course.
Naldehra is an ideal place for nature walks and horse riding trails. About 12 km from Naldehra is the
Mashobra, a thick pine forest area; and the hot sulphur springs of
Tattapani is 30 km from Naldehra.

The nearest international airport is Chandigarh Airport at Chandigarh, 139 km from Shimla and the nearest domestic airport is Shimla Airport, 45 km. Buses, luxury coaches and tourist taxis ply between Delhi and Shimla and from there a connecting bus or taxi can be taken to Naldehra.
