Labrang

Labrang is located on the National Highway 22 in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh. Around 22 km west of the town is Rekong Peo, the district's headquarters. Labrang is 12 km to the north of Giabong and 4 km to the east of Koila. Around Labrang there are numerous attractions, including Nako Lake, Kanda Lake, Jorkaden Peak, Raldang Peak, Kinnaur Kailash Range, Kanam Monastery, Mahabodhi Kinnaur Buddhist Temple, Lippa Monastery, Baspa Valley and Rupi Bhabha Sanctuary. Dehradun Railway Station and Shimla Railway Station are the nearest railheads. Shimla Airport and Kullu Manali Airport serve Labrang.
