Kalaksar

Kalaksar is a small picturesque town lying on the Hansa-Tokpo Yongma trekking route in Lahaul and Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh. It is about 2 km north of Losar and 8 km west of Hansa.

The Spiti River flows through the town. Kibber Sanctuary, Kibber Monastery, Kye Monastery, Bara Shigri Glacier, Kunzum Pass, Chandra Tal and Mulkila Peak are some of the tourist interesting spots near Kalaksar.

Kullu Manali Airport and Shimla Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively. Udaipur-Sumdo road passes through Kalaksar.
