Triund is a popular picnic spot and trek-route, situated at the foothills of the
Dhauladhar ranges, in
Himachal Pradesh. It is about 17 km from
Dharamsala.
Perched at an altitude of 2827 m, the place is noted for its scenic splendour of the majestic mountainous terrain. Triund offers an enchanting view of the Dhauladhar ranges and
the Kangra Valley.
