Nilokheri is a town in
Karnal District,
Haryana. This small township, built for refugees from West Pakistan after partition, is located on the National Highway 1, mid way between
Kurukshetra and
Karnal. It is 145 km north of
Delhi and 120 km south of
Chandigarh.
From a visiting tourist’s point of view, a trip to the historic sites around Delhi, Karnal or Kurukshetra will be an exciting option.
Nearest airport is at Chandigarh. The railway stations at Karnal and Kurukshetra serve the town.
