Varconda

Varconda is a small town in the northern side of North Goa District. It lies close to the Goa-Maharashtra border, and is bounded by Pernem (4 km) in the west, Poroscodem (4 km) in the north, Cancarvornem (4 km) in the east and Pirna (6 km) in the south.

In the neighborhood lie Shree Shantadurga Temple, Alorna Fort and Terekhol Fort. The place can be approached via Goa Airport and Pernem Railway Station.
