Torxem

Torxem is a small town at the north-eastern end of Pernem taluk, in North Goa District. It is near Goa-Maharashtra border and is around 6 km north-west of Chandel. The Macasana-Maneri road has its route through Torxem.

Tiracol River flows close by. Alorna Fort is accessible from here. Goa Airport and Pernem Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station serving this town.
