Shri Rudreshwar Temple is situated in
Bicholim, 45 km from
Panaji. Rock-cut caves of Arvalem, where the ancient
shivling of Rudreshwar,
Lord Shiva, is found, is only half a km away from the temple. The image of Rudreshwar faces the
Arvalem waterfalls. Maha
Shivratri festival gathers a big crowd there. The temple is of great importance to Hindus who carry out rites for the dead there.
