Ponsuli lies in the northern side of Sattari, in North Goa District of Goa. It is close to the state’s border with Maharashtra and Karnataka. Ponsuli is bounded by Anjuriem (2 km) in the west, Bhedshi (14 km) in the north, Tanem (4 km) in the east and Gululem (4 km) in the south.
Surla, at an elevation of 800 m above sea level, is the nearest picnic spot. The Brahma Temple, a 5th century temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, is a nearby prominent pilgrim center.
