Macasana, also spelt Macazana, is in the northern side of South Goa District, Goa. Lying near Salcette, it is bounded by Siroda (4 km) in the west, Concem (8 km) in the north, Xelvona (4 km) in the east and Xeldem (5 km) in the south. Quepem Dam and Caves of Aquem are the nearest major attractions. There is a leprosy hospital at this place.
