Cunchelim

Cunchelim is a non-coastal village near Bardez. It is bounded by Duler in the south, Siolim in the west, Camurlim and Colvale in the north and Tivim in the east. Located just a few kilometers from Mapusa, the place has a small stream known as Lover, which is famous for its healing water. The stream originates at the bottom of the hillock and flows down to the Kuntla Spring. A panoramic view of the waterfalls here is obtained during the rainy season. There is a playground and a place to meet and relax on the hilltop. Several chapels and temples are there in the village. The festival of Lord Ganesh is celebrated with great enthusiasm here.
