Canvorem




Canvorem is a hamlet on the border of Quepem - Sanguem taluks, in South Goa District. Lying near the Quepem-Netravali road, this place is around 7 km south-west of Rivona, known for the Rivona Caves. Other prominent places in the neighborhood include Fatorpa (8 km), Cupa (4 km) and Naina (3 km).

The nearest important shrines are ShantaDurga Temple - dedicated to goddess Shakti - and Shri Damodar Temple in Zambaulim. Pirla Rock Art Site and Quepem Dam are within a short distance.

Balli Railway Station and Goa Airport are the major access points.
