Housed within Kerkar Art Complex in
Calangute, Kerkar Art Gallery features the paintings and sculptures done by Subodh Kerkar, a contemporary artist who gave up his medical profession to devote the whole time in art. The artworks of other selected artists are also exhibited here.
Some of the exhibits are the paintings and sculptures of sea queen, fisherman, cosmic unity, royal couple and oceanic couple. Also included in the displays are elliptical shaped and terracotta collectibles.
Apart from these, workshops for painters and sculptors are conducted to create a healthy dialogue between artistic traditions of the orient and the occident.
