Shahdara

Shahdara is a busy residential and commercial area lying on the National Highway 2, 7 km east of Kashmiri Gate, in East Delhi District. It is located 2 km south-west of Dilshad Garden and about 13 km from ITO.

The historic sites of India Gate, Ashoka Pillar, Red Fort, Mutiny Memorial and Shalimar Bagh, and the shopping hub of Karol Bagh and Connaught Place are some interesting places worth visiting in the neighborhood.

Shahdara falls on the Line 1 of Delhi Metro Rail. Rithala is 22 km north-west. Indira Gandhi International Airport is about 30 km south-west.
