Maitri Bagh is a zoo cum children’s park located at
Durg in
Durg District. Maintained by the Bhilai Steel Plant Management, it has comprehensive facilities for children’s recreation. The zoo is home to a variety of birds, reptiles and animals. White tiger is the main attraction.
A flower show is conducted every year that displays rare flowers and vegetables brought from different parts of the country.
There is a miraculous musical fountain installed in Maitri Bagh. It consists of many fountains of water dancing on the tune of music. Two shows are conducted in the evening on alternate days, which remains for 20 minutes.
