Karghar

Karghar is a small settlement in Rohtas District of Bihar, situated on the road linking Sasaram with the National Highway 30. Sasaram, the district headquarters, is 20 km south-east.

Some of the major tourist destinations outside the town include Rohtasgarh Fort, Tarachandi and Mundeshwari Stone Temple.

Nearest airport is at Gaya, nearly 120 km south-east.

Sasaram Railway Station on the Mughal Sarai-Gaya rail route, is the nearest major railhead.
