Goraur

Goraur is located in the southern parts of Nalanda District in Bihar. It is 33 km to the south-west of Bihar Sharif.

Goraur is connected with road to the towns of Silao and Rajgir. Nalanda, Rajgir and Pawapuri are some of the major tourist destinations in the neighborhood. Apart from these places, Chhath festival attracts thousands of people far and near.

Goraur is 50 km to the north-east of Gaya. Nearest airport is Gaya Airport. Nearest railhead is Rajgir Railway Station, on the Bakhtiyarpur-Tilaiya rail route.
