Gaighat

Gaighat, around 11 km to the south of Kharagpur, lies in the southern parts of Munger District in Bihar. Munger is 31 km north of the town.

Gaighat is connected with road to the towns of Kharagpur, Laxmipur and Sangrampur. Badua River flows through the eastern side of the town.

Munger Fort, Goenka Shivalaya, Bhimbandh Wildlife Sanctuary and Kharagpur Catholic Church are the prime attractions in the neighborhood.

Patna Airport and Bariarpur Railway Station are the nearest access points.
