Colgong

Colgong is a small town in Bhagalpur District of Bihar. It lies on the banks of the Ganges and is around 25 km east of Bhagalpur.

Vikramshila Gangetic Dolphin Sanctuary, Bhagalpur Pillar and Patharghat Hill are the tourist attractions in the region. Champapuri, home to four Jain temples, is a pilgrimage center in the region.

Nearest airport is Patna Airport. Ghoga Railway Station, on the Bhagalpur-Kahalgaon rail route, is the nearest railhead.
