Akbarnagar is a small picturesque settlement in Bhagalpur District of Bihar. Located on the road linking Sultanganj with Bhagalpur, it is around 6 km east of Sultanganj and 19 km west of Bhagalpur.
Since it is on the banks of the Ganges, the town is prone to flooding during the monsoons.
