Tangla is a small town in
Darrang District of
Assam. It is about 35 km north of
Mangaldoi.
Patharughat, a place associated with the war of independence, is south-west. Kala River flows in close proximity to the town.
Tangla Railway Station is on the Rangia-Rangapara railway line. The nearest airport is at Guwahati.
