Subankhata, located at the Assam-Bhutan border, is a village in Nalbari District. This place is bounded by Nganglam (16 km) in the west, Dewangiri (9 km) in the north, Darranga (10 km) in the east and Jagdala (24 km) in the south. Subankhata is well connected with Barama and Nalbari. The village has considerable scatterings of fuller’s earth on the banks of the Pagladia River that flows through here. Prime attraction is the Subankhata Reserve Forest.
