Darranga, 80 km away on the Bhutan border, is a village in
Nalbari District. It is one of the three land customs stations at the Indo- Bhutan border and a prominent winter trading area for the Bhutia Mountain folk. Darranga Reserve Forests constitute the prime attraction.
Darranga is situated 10 km to the east of Subankhata, 9 km to the south of Dewangiri and 8 km to the north of Kumrikhata.
Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and Nalbari Railway Station are the nearest access points.
