Kaharpara is a remote village, close to Pathsala town, in
Nalbari District of
Assam. The Border Security Force camp is situated in this village. Kaharpara is bounded by Loharghat (12 km) in the west, Palasbari (12 km) in the north,
Ranigodam (8 km) in the east and Barduar (18 km) in the south.
Pandu (15 km), famous for the Pandunath Temple, situated on a hillock, is located to the north of the village.
Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and Nalbari Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station, respectively.
