Pandu




Pandu is a railway township situated within a short distance from Guwahati. It derives its name from that of King Pandu, father of the Pandavas. The place is famous for Pandunath Temple, situated on a hillock, where one can see the images of Lord Ganesh and the five Pandava brothers, along with other deities.
