Na-Satra is situated at
Zinkata village in
Dhubri District of
Assam. Located on the borders of Assam and
West Bengal, this is an ancient religious center built over 350 years ago by Hari Athoi. Na-Satra covers an overall area of 13 bigha lands.
The satra preserves various Vashnavite scriptures and manuscripts. ‘Dhasham Ratnawali’ (manuscript written in the leaf of Sanchi) and one Dambaru (drum kind of musical instrument) are the major highlights here. Na-Satra celebrates a number of festivals such as Doul Utsav, Maghi Purnima and Janmashtami.
Na-Satra can be approached from Agamani, 5 km away. Local transports are available from Zinkata to the nearby towns.
