Gusadi dance, a dance of
Andhra Pradesh, forms a part of
Dandari dance and consists of two to five members. The Gusadi dancers wear peacock-feathered turbans, ornaments, strings of cowries and beads around the neck, tinkling bells on the wrists, white stripes and dots on the bodies and poles in their hands. They visit the villages as part of the Dandari troupe during
Diwali. The dance movements coupled with the sounds of the bells and cowries on their bodies offer an amazing scene to the viewers.
