Zigar Drukpa Kargyu Institute is a Buddhist study and meditation center located at
Rewalsar in
Mandi District of
Himachal Pradesh. It is administrated by an association of refugee monks and lay followers of the Drukpa Kargyud order of Tibetan Buddhism.
The institute offers education for young Tibetan children in traditional and modern subjects. Religious training and education for monks and followers of the Drukpa Kargyud order are also provided. It helps in the accomplishment of rehabilitation efforts of the Rewalsar community and Tibetan refugees.
Rewalsar is about 24 km from Mandi.
