Zenana is a Mughal style garden at
Fatehpur Sikri in
Uttar Pradesh. Built by the
Mughals in the 16th century, it is to the north-west of Sunahra Makan (Miriam's House).
The garden has straight walks intersecting at right angles and divided by shallow channels. There is a pond, excavated in 1891, with a sloping stone slab in the south. The slab is carved with a deep pattern called Mahipusht or 'Fishback' that represents the scales of a fish. Both the garden and the pond are in ruins.
