Younus College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) is a self-financing college in the private sector. It was established by the Fathima Memorial Educational Trust in 2002. Affiliated to the
University of Kerala, it offers B-Tech courses in civil, computer science, information technology, electronics and communication.
Infrastructural facilities include a well-stocked library, electronics and microprocessor labs, two computer labs, workshops and hostels for girls and boys.
YCET is situated at Manakkad, 4 km east of Kollam Railway Station, just a short distance from Pallimukku Junction on the National Highway 47.
