Yoganjali Natyalayam, a center for the propagation of Rishiculture Ashtanga Yoga,
Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music, was founded in 1993 by Dr Swami Gitananda Giri Guru Maharaj, a leading exponent of Rishiculture Ashtanga Yoga. Based in
Pondicherry, it runs under the International Center for Yoga Education and Research. The center conducts regular classes, summer camps, competitions, group activities, performances, conferences, seminars, lecture-demonstrations and excursions. An active adult yoga education program has been organized for gents, college students, housewives and working women. There is a nine year part-time diploma course in yoga and bharatanatyam, which is meant for those interested in learning these arts to a higher level, along with their academic education. The International Yoga teachers and professionals from different parts of the world offer special classes for both children and adults at the Yoganjali Natyalayam.
