Yellow Throated Bulbul (Pycnonotus xantholaemus) is a rare bulbul found in the rocky hills of
Karnataka,
Andhra Pradesh,
Tamil Nadu and
Kerala. This species feeds on seeds and insects.
The bird’s plumage is light ash color, beak is black and legs and feet are ash in color. Its flight and tail feathers are all decorated with a mixed color of light black and yellow.
