Yagachi, a river flowing through
Hassan District, is one of the two main tributaries of
Hemavati River. It originates from the
Western Ghats and finally dips into Hemavati, which in turn merges with river
Cauvery near Krishnarajasagar.
Belur, noted for its marvelous temples, is on the banks of Yagachi.
