Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) was established in 1949 at
Jamshedpur in
Jharkhand.
The institute focuses on developing managerial competence among the pupils through acquisition of specialized knowledge and skills. It offers various courses including internet and computer communication systems, services marketing, building learning organizations, transnational strategic management, industrial sociology and a practitioner oriented course on Labour laws.
XLRI provides the entire necessary infrastructure to assist the students and faculty in their research. It has spacious classrooms, audio-visual set up with slide projectors, conference and seminar hall, computer labs and a well-equipped library. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls.
The institute organizes doctoral programs and business management evening programs. It enables the students to attend the meets conducted by different institutions and organizes guest lectures.
