Similar to Vindaloo, Xacutti is another Goan specialty cooked with raw peanuts, egg yolk, red chillies and grated coconut. It was originally a vegetarian dish. Today, it is served with chicken or lamb. The cooking of Xacutti involves a lot of work and effort. Bird's eye chilies and coconut along with many other spices are dry roasted and then made into a spicy paste.
