Women's India Trust (WIT) is a reputed social service organization with its headquarters in
Maharashtra. Commenced in 1968, it aims at the uplifment of the less privileged and unskilled women of the society. The trust offers educational opportunities and vocational trainings for these women to forge a better future. Women's India Trust runs a nursing school and a kindergarten and assists in the marketing of products made by women.
