Windamere Hotel is located on the Observatory Hill, in
Darjeeling. It has two sections, namely, Windamere and Little Windamere.
The Windamere wing, with an ambience of bygone age, offers a comfortable stay. The main house is called Ada Villa. Little Windamere wing is well-suited for a modern style of living. It has two residential houses, Annadale and Observatory House, each equipped with TV, telephone and attached bath.
DHR club is within the hotel premises and is housed inside a 19th century stone cottage, The Snuggery. A well-stocked library is attached to the club. Membership is required to avail the facilities. Eight double rooms are available for club members.
Windamere Conference Center, with a seating capacity of 40 people, is situated on the Mall. Songs, dances and ghazals are organized for entertainment.
