Wild Side Villa is placed near Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in
Thekkady, 2200 m above sea level. There is a main house, two independent cottages and a tree house for comfortable stay. Built in traditional style, the bamboo tree house is an ideal place to enjoy the wildlife.
The garden cafe serves home-made food. Indian and continental style cuisines are served in the rooms or in the open air restaurant encircled by coffee plants.
Plantation tours, elephant rides, bird watching, fishing, bamboo rafting and jungle trekking can also be experienced.
The best season to visit the area is from September to March. Mangala Devi Temple and Vandiperiyar are among the nearby attractions. The villa is 190 km from Cochin International airport and 114 km from Kottayam Railway Station.
