West Bengal Handicrafts Corporation (alias Manjusha) commenced its activities in
Kolkata in 1977. It offers an authentic array of handicrafts and handloom goods from
West Bengal. Items available are clay dolls,
terracotta pieces, wood carvings, sandalwood carvings, ceramic items, sholapith items, brass and bell metal carvings, stone carvings, cane and bamboo items, shell and conch shell goods, craft goods and needle work and embroidery. The handloom section provides tangail, jamdani, kantha stitch, dhanikhali and begumpuri sarees, dhoti, shirts, bed covers, bed sheets and carpets. Special rebates are given during festival occasions.
West Bengal Handicrafts Corporation has branches at Lindsay Street in Kolkata and in Dakshinapan Complex, Dhakuria, Kolkata.
