Placed at a height of about 5,147 ft above sea level, Wawuts is a scenic village in
Srinagar District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is near to
Gorpur and is about nine kilometers south-west of
Srinagar.
Pirbagh is in the west,
Mazidbagh in the north, Hakimbagh in the east and Rawalpur in the south.
Buses ply regularly from Srinagar and Magam to Wawuts. One can also reach this place from Gogu. The nearest railhead is at Udhampur.
