Waria




The town of Waria lies near the banks of the Damodar, in Bardhaman District of West Bengal. Andal is 5 km to its north. It also borders with the district of Bankura. The industrial town of Durgapur is 15 km to the south-east. National Highway 2 passes nearby this town.

Kajora is to the north, Mejia to the west, Dignala to the north-west and Panagarh to the south-east. Durgapur Barrage, Kumarmangalam Park, 12th century Panagarh Fort and Vishnu Temple are the attractive spots to visit.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the closest airport. Waria Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
