Walar is an important dance form of the Garasia tribes, typical to
Rajasthan. It is a model of the
Ghoomar dance. The dancers dance to the beats of the ‘mandal’, ‘chang’ and a variety of other musical instruments, which provide a vigorous rhythm to their dance movements.
