Waigaon

Waigaon is a small town situated 10 km west of Sonegaon, in Wardha District. It is located 11 km north-west of Alipur and around 25 km from Wadner. Wardha - the district headquarters – is 13 km north while Nagpur, the Orange City, is 90 km north-east.

Bor Wildlife Sanctuary, Mahakali Dam, Vinoba Bhave's Ashram at Paunar and Gandhiji's Ashram at Sevagram are places of tourist interest in the district. Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary are ideal short excursion sites in the neighborhood for wildlife enthusiasts.
