Wagon Tragedy Memorial Municipal Town Hall




Located at Malappuram, Wagon Tragedy Memorial Municipal Town Hall is a historic hall along with a monument evoking the memories of the notorious Wagon Tragedy during British rule. A tragic incident occurred on November 10, 1921 in which 61 out of 70 Muslim prisoners died in a closed railway goods wagon due to suffocation while being transferred to the Coimbatore jail.
